Superhydrophobic textile: treatment in aqueous solutions of aluminum salts

Textile is currently a promising material. Obtaining hydrophobic surfaces on textiles significantly increases its value when used in various fields. In this work we carried out experiments textile processing. Treatment of materials solutions containing aluminum allows to obtain superhydrophobic surface. KAl(SO4)2 and AlCl3 were used. It was found that treatment solution more effective achieve surface with contact angle than 150º. The retained properties even after 30 days air storage scraping crumpling samples. samples investigated using X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). results showed hydrophobicity the ensured by formation oxide dependence coarse calico concentration determined. which demonstrates (within limits variation considered), also increases.
